Your new day-to-day
Within this role you are responsible for the technical management of our tank containers within a defined geographic area (Asia).
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Arrange and coordinate timely delivery of the repair and modification estimates supplied by the depot workshops. Evaluate correctness and ensure complete and accurate administration;
- Coordinate and/or conduct the surveys and inspections on the tank containers;
- Coordinate the repair process at the depots and monitor the progress on repairs and modifications;
- "Costs Control" of the service providers in your region;
- Provide Technical support / troubleshooting;
- Control of the stock and repair overviews;
- Build and maintain a working relationship with the service providers, subcontractors, and suppliers;
- Perform Depot audits.
Who are you?
To be successful in the role of M&R Manager, you possess the following skills and experience:
- About 5 years relevant working experience (preferably at a tank container depot or operator);
- Knowledge of MS office applications;
- Excellent command of the English language;
- In-depth technical knowledge of Dangerous Goods Transport (worldwide);
- You are pro-active and problem-solving in your approach;
- You are able to work independently and prioritize your tasks.
