At Trifleet, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting and safeguarding your data. When do we collect your data?

Trifleet collects your personal data when:

  1. You apply for one of our vacancies on our Website;
  2. You send an open application and resumé;
  3. You provide your personal data to receive job alerts; or
  4. You contact us for a different reason than listed above and you provide your personal data for that purpose.

What data is collected?

Trifleet only collects your personal data for our recruitment process. The data that is shared through the Website is only available to a limited group of employees within Trifleet. We process the following data from you:

  • Name, address, e-mail address and other contact data.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV) and motivation containing information that you chose to provide yourself, such as information about education, internships and work experience, gender and other data related to you personally, such as hobbies and family situation.
  • Photos and videos you send with your application.
  • Results of tests and assessments that are shared with Trifleet after your approval.
  • Data to provide you with a salary proposal, which - if you start working with us - we will include in our HR systems, such as salary calculation, ID, IBAN number and data on your partner/children for pension purposes.
  • How far you got in the application process and reasons for hiring or rejection.

Why is your data collected?

We collect and process your personal data on the basis of the foundations of the General Data Protection Regulation. We do so for these purposes:

  • Processing your application and communicating with you personally about it and, if you choose, sending job alerts (basis: legitimate interest or consent).
  • For recruitment and selection purposes, including diversity targeting, and managing our recruitment database (basis: legitimate interest).
  • Possible conclusion of an employment contract with you (basis: execution of agreement with you).
  • To fulfill our legal responsibilities (basis: legal obligation).
  • Compliance with our legal responsibilities, settlement of disputes and enforcement of our agreements (basis: legitimate interest or legal obligation).

Trifleet’s legitimate interests include marketing, advertising, security, (crime) prevention, IT management, research and analysis of our own products or services, corporate governance, legal affairs, internal management. If you have consented to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw it again, at any time, by sending a request to privacy@trifleet.com

Who we share your personal data with

Outside of our company, our subsidiaries and affiliated companies (GATX), we only share your personal data with a third-party supplier if you provide Trifleet with your consent to do so.

How long your personal data will be kept

We will keep your personal data for the duration of the recruitment process, but no longer than 6 (six) weeks. In some cases, we will ask you if we can keep your personal data for any future vacancies, and/or job alerts, but only keep it after you’ve provided your consent.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights, which you can exercise at any time. You can always request (within the legal framework) for access, correction, addition, restriction, portability and/or deletion of the data Trifleet processes about you. You also have the right to object to certain processing of your data. To do so, you can contact us by email at privacy@trifleet.com. You also have the right to object against certain processing of your personal data. You can also file a complaint with the appropriate privacy regulator.

Keeping your personal data secure

We have appropriate security measures in place to prevent personal data from being accidentally lost or used or accessed in an unauthorized way. We limit access to your personal data to those who have a genuine business need to know it. Those processing your data will do so only in an authorized manner and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected data security breach where we are legally required to do so.

When communicating with us by email you should ensure that you take all reasonable precautions to protect any sensitive personal data.
