Director Sales EMEA & Americas (Position Filled)

Trifleet is searching for a dynamic and results-oriented Director Sales to lead our sales team across the EMEA and Americas regions. The Director Sales EMEA and Americas will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and enhance profitability.

Your new day-to-day

As Director Sales EMEA and Americas, you’ll lead our regional sales teams in Europe and Houston, Texas. You’ll be an integral part of our management team.

Your mission will be to support our sales teams in providing excellent service and solutions, ensuring that Trifleet continues to be the preferred choice for our customers.

This requires a deep understanding of our customer needs and cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business requirements, and providing tailored solutions. On top of industry knowledge and identifying favorable global/regional market conditions and opportunities.

You'll develop a sales strategy to drive revenue growth, meet and exceed sales targets.
It is essential to build and maintain strong relationships with Trifleet’s group companies and our parent company GATX to optimize cross-selling activities and facilitate long-term goals for geographical expansion.

Furthermore, you'll establish KPI’s to monitor sales performance, analyze results, and identify areas for improvement. Your leadership will be instrumental in successfully maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Your profile

You’re an experienced sales professional with a consistent track record of achieving sales successes and accomplishing department targets and company goals.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree, with 8-10 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development. Furthermore, you have experience in leading a team, who operate in different timezones and have fostered your team’s personal development, and mindset to achieve their individual and company goals. Affinity with or knowledge about tank containers, logistics transports and/or chemical industries is an advantage. You recognize yourself as a skilled people manager who knows how to get your team members behind a common goal and vision and who coaches and motivates the people in the organization.

Other requirements

  • Willingness to travel (EMEA and Americas);
  • Fluent in English, a second language is an advantage;
  • Experience in or knowledge of CRM (SalesForce) and Power-BI is an advantage.
