Area Sales Manager (Position Filled)

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our dynamic and international Sales team. As Area Sales Manager at Trifleet, your role involves overseeing and growing our global customer base within a specified geographical area.

Your new day-to-day
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities to help Trifleet continue to grow;
  • Sustain and strengthen relationships with existing customers to help Trifleet remain our customer’s first choice;
  • Regularly visit potential and existing customers;
  • Looking for cross selling opportunities within the group of companies (GATX)
  • Conclude commercial discussions by efficiently closing contracts;
  • Work together with cross-functional teams to optimize results in terms of commercial objectives, commercial relations with customers and customer satisfaction;
  • Lead generation through market research, identifying stakeholders, etc.;
  • Reporting on your activities via CRM SalesForce;
  • Carry budget responsibility for a specified geographical area.

Your profile

You are an experienced sales professional with a consistent track record of sales success. In this role you will report to our Regional Manager Sales Europe.

To be successful in the role of Area Sales Manager, you have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred;
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional sales experience;
  • Affinity with or knowledge about tank containers, logistics transports and/or chemical industries is an advantage;
  • Experience with cryogenic tank containers is an advantage;
  • Results-driven, decisive, ability to identify and prioritize initiatives;
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills;
  • Capable of working independently with a proactive and approachable attitude, while also being a team player;
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel (within Europe);
  • Excellent command of the English language (verbal and in writing), a second language is an advantage;
  • Experience in or knowledge of CRM (SalesForce) and Power-BI is an advantage;
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office.
